· Lead the design and implementation of key features for our enterprise solution, utilizing modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue.js), HTML5, CSS3, and related technologies.
· Collaborate closely with DevOps, Product, Operations, and QA teams to analyze requirements, create intuitive UX designs, develop new functionalities, and ensure seamless application performance across diverse environments.
· Drive the development of reusable components and front-end libraries to improve efficiency and maintainability.
· Conduct thorough testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end) and implement automated testing strategies to guarantee high-quality code and minimize bugs.
· Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and promoting best practices within the team.
· Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.
· Has the required technical/functional knowledge and experience in own discipline. Knowledge of the Amadeus business and how it is related to own area.
· Works using existing procedures or guidelines and provides inputs to support/influence area decisions.
· Makes recommendations on new solutions and proposes improvements by analyzing different sources of information.
· Works with a moderate level of guidance and direction from manager.
o Design technical solution and perform feasibility studies on new planned developments.
o Participate in business refinement sessions to design new technical solutions and/or discuss viability
o Participate in planning sessions sharing estimates, timelines and technical dependencies to develop functional software
o Develop software according to the relevant guiding principles of the software
o Conduct relevant testing processes and automate critical cycles to ensure the required level of quality is maintained
o Review and recommend changes to code developed by team members
o Assist with release management activities where needed in support of user acceptance testing cycles, resolving bugs, and implementing necessary improvements to ensure timely software releases
o Collaborate with Product Managers/Engineering team for development of new (or upgrade of existing) software solutions.
o Provide insights in feasibility and practicality over certain proposed solutions made by the Product Manager.
o Propose better or simpler solutions when you see an opportunity to improve functionality, or reduce complexity without loss of essential requirements
o Ensure your technical solution possess all relevant information to explain the functioning, or technical flow of the functionality so that other departments can use it for testing documentation, user documentation or future functional refinements.
