Job Description

Are you ready to take charge of a dynamic site, overseeing both warehouse and office operations? We’re looking for a dedicated Site Manager to ensure top-notch performance and customer service.


Your Role The site manager is responsible for the overall performance of the allocated site, encompassing both warehouse and office operations. This includes ensuring high standards of customer service, especially in the absence of a Business Leader (BL). Key responsibilities include planning, organizing, staffing, directing, and controlling all office and warehouse activities. The role also involves overseeing the selection, professional development, and motivation of warehouse employees. Additionally, the role assists CL management in setting warehouse performance objectives and strategic planning. The individual is accountable for achieving company objectives related to cost, productivity, customer service, and profit. Your Responsibilities
  • To plan, direct and implement warehouse operations and administrative/customer service support to meet prescribed productivity and service goals
  • To manage staffing levels, staff policies, leave, discipline and other HR related issues and conduct regular staff meetings and ensure efficient team communication
  • To ensure the development of systems and procedures for operating and managing physical facilities, human resources, equipment and product in a profitable manner
  • To be involved in developing the an annual operating budgets and manage a system of controls to ensure that service levels and operational performance goals are met within prescribed cost, revenue and profit parameters.
  • To establish efficient distribution set-ups and coordination with other departments (esp. forwarding) goods, customs and food storage regulations
  • To initiate structured programs to monitor and improve Quality (KNPS QMM) / Productivity (KNPS PMM) 
  • To manage continuous improvement projects for site together with local KNPS manager
  • To support purchases related to CL operations and authorize vendor bills and payments
  • Carry out its works in accordance with policies, objectives and Management System documents of Quality,
  • Occupational Health and Safety, Environment and Information Security.
  • Carry out the Emergency Team Member Responsibilities if notified
  • Carry out the tasks delegated from top management which are compatible with the knowledge, skills and education 
Your Skills and Experiences
  • Relevant education in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Native Turkish and Intermediate English
  • Experience in planning and directing warehouse operations.
  • Strong leadership skills, including staffing and team communication.
  • Expertise in developing systems for managing facilities and resources.
  • Experience in budgeting and performance management.
  • Proven track record in quality and productivity improvement.
  • Knowledge of purchasing processes and vendor management.
