You have a solid technical background in "building technologies," ideally specializing in fire detection, extinguishing, and security (pava,access control, intrusion, CCTV). With a successful initial professional experience, you are highly proficient in MS Office tools, Autocad which are essential for carrying out your daily tasks.What are my responsibilities?
- Develops, designs and completes customer proposals in technical aspects (Proposal Engineer) for Siemens SI Buildings Business Unit, Service Sales
- Department, based on Fire Safety, Security, Building Automation, Lighting Automation and Fire Exinguishing systems and products.
- Performs site surveys to develop base design or installation plans.
- Analyzes customers' technical setup in order to better judge on aspects of product and solution integration.
- Completes technical analyses and supports proposal process at any stage as part of the sales team.
- Performs the review of task plans, drawings and installation schematics and provides guidance in the phase of product test integration.
- May support completion of service contracts (i.e. planning and estimation of labor categories, rates, material cost, etc.).
- May manage respective sub-contractors.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Strong technical background in building technologies, with specialization in fire detection, extinguishing, and security (PAVA, access control, intrusion, CCTV).
- 3+ years of relevant experience in the technical field, ideally in fire/security/extinguishing industries.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and AutoCAD, essential for daily tasks and effective project handling.
- Collaboration skills to work closely with Sales Representatives and stakeholders in Siemens for system design and tender preparation.
- Field support expertise, assisting sales reps with on-site visits and system project designs.
- Pre-sales capability to review technical requirements and specifications, helping in the preparation of optimized technical offers.
- Product and design support for spare part offers and maintenance agreements, ensuring seamless client servicing.
- Sales process technical support to provide guidance and resolve technical questions.
- Knowledge of water foam extinguishing systems is a valuable asset, adding depth to fire safety expertise.
- Intermediate level of English for effective communication and documentation.
- Customer-centric approach with a strong focus on retention, satisfaction, and loyalty.
