PeopleCert is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer who is interested to relocate to Athens, Greece and join our UI/UX Design team! In this role, you will create exceptional experiences across web and mobile platforms and shape seamless and impactful learning and certification journeys for our candidates, while helping our partners maximize the value of their collaboration with PeopleCert. As a key member of the team, you will drive the development of compelling value propositions that elevate customer experiences. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in influencing the company’s vision and providing the strategic insights necessary to guide informed decision-making.


As a Senior UI/UX Designer, your tasks will include the following:


  • Lead the development of solutions for projects that require a blend of strategic UX thinking, pixel perfect Visual Design and expert interaction design skills.
  • Design and deliver high-fidelity mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
  • Engage in rapid concept and product prototyping together with our product managers to ensure an agile and iterative product development approach.
  • Facilitate the product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and create intuitive & convenient designs.
  • Work with software engineers and product managers for the implementation of the designed solutions.
  • Promote best practices to create maintainable, high performing web and mobile applications.
  • Ask smart questions, take risks and champion new ideas.
  • Propose new methodologies, tools, and processes to challenge and, ultimately, advance the team’s existing way of working.
  • Adhere to, and implement the procedures, policies and work instructions as per the PeopleCert’s Integrated Management System.

What we look for:


  • Academic background in Design, Computer Science, or a relevant field (MSc level and relevant international certifications will be considered as great).
  • Extensive experience in a similar role, with a focus in designing complex solutions for complete digital environments.
  • Solid grasp of user-centered design (USD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.
  • Strong understanding and experience in building Design Systems.
  • Excellent command of the English language (C2 level certification desired, LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus).
  • Proficient in Figma and its capabilities for design and collaboration.
  • Knowledge of Web Development Fundamentals like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Advanced computer literacy is required. ECDL Advance level certification is desirable.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation & communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism and ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills and teamwork approach; team motivator, self-driven, flexible and able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment.

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)


Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.


If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:


  • A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence)
  • HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)
  • Financial background check
  • Employment reference check.
  • If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK.

In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.
