The position in a nutshell:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior React Native Developer to join our dynamic team for a limited-time contract of one year. You will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of a scalable, secure and well designed software product. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on React Native.
Note: This is a 1-year limited-time contract with a possibility of extension based on project requirements and performance and involves regular travel to Saudi Arabia for project implementation and coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native.
Maintaining and extending the functionality of existing cross platform software components
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Working closely with backend developers to implement and develop products with responsive designs
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and debugging with backend developers to deliver optimized products
Regularly travel to Saudi Arabia to collaborate with local teams and stakeholders.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Documenting the software components and implementing the unit tests
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in software development.
Proficiency in React Native and its core principles.
Strong understanding of mobile app development and design.
Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript
Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and integrating with backend services.
Solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
Knowledge of native build tools, like Xcode, Android Studio, etc.
High proficiency in spoken and written English
Willingness and ability to travel regularly to Saudi Arabia for project requirements.
Nice to have:
Experience with native Android and iOS development.
Previous experience working in international or cross-cultural teams.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes.
