This role is based in Istanbul, Türkiye, has two direct reports and directly reports to Legal, Compliance and Quality Senior Director.



The position
As Senior Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring overall Quality Management System is in full compliance at the affiliate and the warehouse with all current Novo Nordisk and legislative requirements. Within this context, you need to maintain reliable quality monitoring system supporting NNTL objectives and ensure GDP and data integrity rules are followed.  You will ensure deviations are opened and closed on-time, performing root-cause analysis and securing CAPAs are taken when required. You will be also responsible of change control management and conducting quality management review meetings. You will also act as deputy QP/RP for Novo Nordisk Turkiye’s pharmaceuticals products as per local regulations and as Responsible Manager for medical devices of Novo Nordisk Turkiye as per local regulations.


Your responsibilities will also include:


  • Providing input to Global Audit Risk assessment tool to prepare annual external audit plan and maintaining Turkiye affiliate’s audit program
  • Developing trainings and training Turkiye affiliate’s employees on quality matters and performing induction training to newcomers on Novo Nordisk Quality Management System and also providing necessary daily support to the end users, communicating necessary changes to relevant teams
  • Maintaining the overview of local external requirements applicable to the affiliate and ensuring local procedures reviewed and updated in accordance with local requirements and global procedures
  • Establishing a quality risk management approach in projects to ensure that quality is understood and managed by all stakeholders throughout the product life cycle and implementing better ways of working that are quality related and cost effective and demonstrating continuous improvements
  • Ensuring relevant regulations are followed to manage counterfeit, diverted, falsified products and coordination with relevant stake holders
     

Qualifications
You have a minimum bachelor’s degree in Faculty of Medicine, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a relevant area. You will have 8 years of experience in quality discipline and/or in pharmaceutical industry. You have excellent command over both written and spoken English.

About the Department 
Legal, Ethics, Compliance and Quality department is responsible for supporting Türkiye Affiliate of Novo Nordisk in all legal, ethics, compliance and quality related topics and ensuring the implementation of the global and local policies and requirements in Türkiye.
