Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

As our new Quality Assurance Lead, you will be responsible for all QA related topics and issues at our Colors and Flavors location in Turkey. This is a fulltime job, onsite in our facility in Gebze, Kocaeli.

What you will do:

• Ensure that the documentation system is up-to-date, prepare, approve, review new documents and revise these as needed
• Carry out daily/weekly/monthly hygiene sanitation and standard requirement controls in accordance with the requirements of the food management system, share non-conformities identified and follow up on actions and deadlines
• Initiate Corrective/Preventive Actions, conduct root cause analyses, complete forms, monitor actions and assure proper close-out
• Establish and approve internal audit plans, conduct audits and report on results. Organize second and third party audits, accompany the auditors, create post-audit reports, initiate corrective actions for observations and non-conformities, action follow-up and sharing results with the auditor
• Evaluate customer requests, share these with other departments and respond within the required time

What you will bring:

• Degree in food engineering, chemical engineering or related undergraduate departments
• At least 4 years in a food quality assurance department
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (spoken and written)
• Certificate of Participation in HACCP and Food Safety Management Systems
• Ideally an Internal Auditor Training
