Sea Logistics Operational Care Manager, Export

Kuehne + Nagel Turkey is looking for an effective communicator, analytic, committed and detail oriented Sea Logistics Export Operational Care Manager for its Istanbul office.

Your Role The Sea Logistics Operational Care Manager is in charge of delivering operational excellence while continuously optimize cost of production. Development of seafreight export/import operations, enhancing operational capability and delivering increased profitability. Managing the Operational Care Centre between cost-efficiency and high-quality processing. Responsibility is also given for business development in regards to carrier procurement and management. The Kuehne+Nagel import/export services are to be improved to constantly develop the national seafreight business. Your Responsibilities

• Act as Head of Export Operational Care Team and provide leadership and direction to the export operational care organization
• Ensure operational excellence through high-quality shipment management
• Ensure close cooperation with National Sea Logistics Manager Customer Care and Systems & Processes for optimized customer experience
• Contribute as process owner to continuous improvements of processes and controls for lean and cost-efficient processes
  To optimize proceedings to ensure development of seafreight operational KPIs
• Support and sustain efficient carrier relation management

Your Skills and Experiences

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in related fields.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in sea logistics, former customer care experience is nice to have.
• Proficient in MS Office Applications and PC skills.
• Excellent analytical, communicational skills, attention to detail.
• Very good spoken and written English and Turkish is a must.
