Ready to gain exposure to a new side of the business? Join our team as a Sales Support Specialist in the Chemical Vertical. In this role, you'll contribute to high-impact initiatives and support global commercial operations while gaining insights into how PSA BDP grows business without being on the front line.
CHARTER:
Candidate will be an integral part of a multi-cultural global chemical logistics sales team, providing sales administration/operations support to grow the vertical.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and deliver key metrics, reports, slides, and process flows using tools like Qlik, Visio, and proprietary global visibility systems to support decision-making
Coordinate the development and submission of RFI/RFP/RFQs (requests for information/proposal/quotation), ensuring alignment with client requirements and company standards
Maintain and update the RFP sales content library, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and accessibility for the sales team
Collaborate with global operational teams to gather and integrate content for proposals and presentations
Gather and organize financial and technical data for internal analyses and strategic use
Monitor CRM input, as well as output, including reporting, dashboards, etc.
Provide general administrative support to manager and the department, including scheduling, communication, and coordination tasks to facilitate team efficiency
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION
Required:
General working experience 3+ years, including minimum 1-2 years of logistics experience
Strong understanding of operations and experience with data analysis and reporting
Professional verbal and written English language skills, including proficient English grammatical and writing/editing/proofreading abilities
Expertise in PowerPoint, Visio, Word, and Excel
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks
Ability to work independently, remotely, and in flexible working hours (multiple time zones)
High level of technical acumen and ability to translate ideas into polished, modern visuals
May need to travel internationally on a periodic basis
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational background
Preferred:
Chemical logistics experience
Prior experience supporting sales teams or working in a sales environment
