Job Description:
This role is responsible for driving the growth and development of the HD & Industrial business across the Middle East and Pakistan (MEP) region, ensuring alignment with Castrol’s global strategy. The position focuses on identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, expanding market presence.
The role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic initiatives while ensuring sustainable growth through effective resource allocation, market insights, and strong stakeholder engagement.

Key accountabilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to identify and secure new business opportunities in the HD & Industrial lubricants segment.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to design and execute business development initiatives aligned with market trends and customer needs.
- Establish a strong understanding of market dynamics, including competitor activity, customer expectations, and emerging business trends, to inform decision-making and strategy.
- Lead the development and execution of sales plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and the achievement of growth targets.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key accounts and stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships and business opportunities.
- Work closely with the sales leadership team to align business development strategies with overall market plans.
- Conduct regular reviews of market performance, identifying gaps and opportunities for further growth.
- Optimize the effectiveness of the sales and distribution network, ensuring the delivery of business objectives in a cost-effective manner.
- Develop talent pipelines and implement succession plans to ensure a high-performing team that supports sustainable business growth.
- Actively engage in cross-functional collaboration to drive seamless execution of business plans and achieve operational excellence.
Education:
- Minimum: Graduate. An MBA or equivalent degree would be value added
Experience:
- Significant sales management experience of handling a large territory or channel.
- Experience working in a matrix organization with complex customer interfaces
- Well-rounded business experience to be able to implement cross functional plans
- Strong people leadership experience
- Experience in dealing with multiple important stakeholders both within and outside the organization
- Experience in dealing with key accounts and large, complex customers
