Job Purpose
To achieve success, it is critical that the CHC Sales & Operations Planning Leader:
- Ensure effective and efficient solid performance management of Forecasting, Agents Stocks monitoring and tracking through SISO and SIT processes, improving Service Level, decreasing Obsolescence and optimizing demand consensus for Turkey.
- Lead and reinforce Change Management by ensuring IBP drives Financial Planning and transforms into IBP and is constantly improving to support the achievement of Business, financial, customer and cost objectives reaching the aim to be the Core process in operations management.
- Work collaboratively with demand planning team and region Supply Chain for achieving Business and supply-chain management objectives through stocks management, demand planning and mitigating the IA constraints.
- Lead, Support, prioritize and prepare for New Products planned launches
Main Responsibilities
1. Process and Operational Performance
Forecast:
- Responsible for leading and optimizing forecasting performance of Turkey through robust validation monthly meetings with Finance and COMMERCIAL teams covering below:
- Challenge Brand / Sales teams on unjustified forecast change outside product performance trend.
- Focus on repeated main offenders to gather market insights.
- Attention to forecast of products with production limitations and with 24 months SL (MOQ, Plant delay, No frequent production).
- Implement Statistical forecasting (identification/ testing / execution)
- Review Forecast Performance KPIs and align on improving action plans
- Reach a consensus demand plan through collaboration with Sales and Brand teams
- Understand and highlight gaps vs budget plans through collaboration with Finance
- Work collaboratively to extend the forecast focus toward a mid to long-term horizon.
- Frequent quarterly Workshops for reinforcing the forecast performance KPIs improvement.
Obsolescence:
- Lead monthly a robust Obsolescence process meeting to assess risks in the scope of end to end stocks status and define action plan to optimize inventory levels & minimize Returns/Destructions collaboratively with finance, demand planning team and sales markets teams.
Suply Risk :
- Highlight supply risk in the weekly risk tracker for escalation and strive for action plan to mitigate the risks.
Sales In Sales Out (SISO) & Stock in Trade (SIT):
- Prepare and Provide SISO information beginning of every month for zone submission
NPL & Product Portfolio:
- Review current commercial product portfolio and new launch products supply pipeline.
- Work closely with demand planning team to provide supply visibility in order to sustain the optimal inventory strategies for existing, new and pruned SKUs.
Demand Mangement
- Review demand and supply scenarios, identify risks / gaps, develop recommendations and assess financial impact (YTD actual vs. plan)
- Arbitrate with demand planning team, COMMERCIAL TEAM, Finance, Sales and Customer Service to develop consensus on Sales-In.
- Defining and evaluating the best mitigation strategies and allocation rules coordinating with demand planning team to expedite replenishment requirements as per Business needs while identifying the constraints and opportunities at IA side.
- Improve Customer centricity, product availability and optimize inventory by improving reliability and anticipation of demand signal
Business Partnering:
- Facilitate and support regional Supply Chain organization in relevant reporting, Business visibility and performance optimization.
- Partner with Supply HUBs, Commercial, Finance, COMMERCIAL TEAM and Customer Service to improve top-line revenue through Demand Optimization and bottom-line profitability through better use of supply resources (Retail/Tenders)
- Lead, Structure and Formalize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for activities falling under IBP Process with clear timelines and functional responsibility.
- Lead end-to-end integration of product value chain, ensuring consistency of decision and a strong link between strategic, tactical and operational levels
- Contribute to simplify our operating model, by implementing standardized Core processes
2. IBP (Integrated Business Planning)
- Strengthen process to become Business core management forum.
- Lead the IBP executive reviews with Turkey management to seek arbitration / decisions, where needed and develop clear action plans RACI in the scope of:
- Forecast and SC Performance KPIs.
- Demand supply matching analysis output.
- SISO outputs.
- Obsolescence outputs.
- Products portfolio update.
- Financial demand evolution versus budget/T1/T2.
- Risks and Opportunities highlights.
- Work closely with Finance, COMMERCIAL TEAM, Sales Heads, Brand teams and Regulatory for IBP process sustainability and Foster monitoring and facilitating the collection and updating of data.
- Ensure IBP Forecast and data are used as a common platform between Finance, COMMERCIAL TEAM, Sales, BOPs & Supply Chain.
- Foster GBU Business value creation, providing end-to-end vision through IBP
- Ensure implementation of Zone and AMEA Supply Chain IBP initiatives.
3. Change Management
- Drive a mind set for change management with “ONE Business plan” across functions.
- Lead Change Management amongst all stakeholders within Finance, Sales, COMMERCIAL TEAM, Supply Chain, HUBs, Regulatory & General Management by highlighting impact of IBP on short, mid & long-term Business moving further to IBP.
- Ensure greater alignment, active engagement and quick execution at Strategic, Operational and Transactional levels by ensuring collaboration and higher buy-in with Sales organizations.
- Conduct periodic reviews with CHC Head of Supply Chain Turkey and region Supply Chain to ensure adaptation to Business fluctuations and strategic initiatives in order to collectively achieve targets and smoothen change management.
4. Maintain Compliance
- Abide by the requirements of the internal Code of Ethics including but not restricted to maintaining high professional standards of conduct in line with the Company procedure with a duty of care to the reputation of the Company

About you:
Skills, Experience and Knowledge requirements
- Education:
Master's or bachelor's degree in business, logistics or engineering.
Experience: - 7-10 years of experience in Supply Chain (with at least 3-5 years in Deman planning) in an FMCG company.
- Very good understanding of overall company processes, corporate culture & organization structure (Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial, Brand, Sales, …).
Languages: - Turkish– full professional proficiency.
- English – full professional proficiency.
- French – a plus
