Job Description
Developing and implementing revenue-enhancing strategies.
Creating budgets and setting financial goals.
Analyzing and reporting on revenue performance.
Ensuring that all reservation requests are responded to professionally and promptly, avoiding any loss of business.
Providing training to all reservation staff and new team members to enhance their sales strategies and skills during the reservation process.
Demonstrating positive attitudes to resolve guest complaints in order to protect company revenues and ensure guest satisfaction.
Effectively organizing departmental shifts to answer all reservation-related phone calls, minimizing the number of unanswered calls, and converting answered reservation inquiries into room sales.
Ensuring daily phone conversations are conducted according to standard script notifications, and maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly reports regarding phone calls.
Preparing sales strategies for all sales channels and segments within the hotel as directed by the reporting manager, and making necessary adjustments.
Preparing reports in accordance with hotel and company standards for the Revenue Director, Hotel Management Board, or reporting manager, and making changes in the hotel reservation management system and/or hotel revenue management system when necessary, while maintaining existing systems as required.
Implementing office procedures according to hotel standards; these procedures include ensuring that all reservation requests are confirmed within 24 hours, that invoices for guests who make reservations but do not check in are forwarded to the Finance Department, and that the filing system is accurately followed with timely new filings.
Conducting annual performance evaluation meetings, preparing annual development calendars for employees, monitoring the competencies of reservation department staff, providing development suggestions, and offering ideas for greater success.
Ensuring that incentive programs are implemented, monitoring these programs, preparing reports on them, tracking all requirements of these incentive programs, and maintaining data accuracy.
