We are seeking a Restaurant General Manager for the launch of an exciting dining-only concept that features live entertainment, set to open in Istanbul. This concept has already achieved great success in key international cities.
Job Description:
We are looking for a Restaurant General Manager who has a first experience in opening new concepts, particularly in the high-end dining and entertainment concepts. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in successfully launching and managing high-profile, luxury restaurant venues in major international cities such as those in Europe, Dubai, or other key markets. Familiarity with Istanbul is not required, but experience in fast-paced, cosmopolitan environments is essential.
As the Restaurant General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of this exclusive dining and entertainment venue, ensuring a flawless guest experience and operational excellence from the very start. You will be responsible for building a dynamic team, ensuring exceptional service, and driving the venues financial success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the opening of this new luxury restaurant, managing all aspects of pre-opening and post-launch operations.
- Oversee daily operations
- Ensure the highest standards of service are consistently delivered, balancing both the dining and entertainment aspects of the venue in close collaboration with the Director of Entertainment.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue and maximize profitability while maintaining the brands high-end positioning.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team, creating an environment of excellence and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, managing the unique challenges of a venue that combines dining with entertainment.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for growth and improvement.
- Build strong relationships with high-end clientele to develop their loyalty and increase the revenue.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring an outstanding guest experience.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute strategic communication and events that attract a sophisticated, international clientele as well as the local high-end clientele.
- Create and sustain a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in restaurant management, with a focus on high-end, lifestyle dining concepts that incorporate entertainment.
- Proven experience in opening new concepts, with a track record of success in luxury restaurants in key international cities such as Europe, Dubai, or similar markets.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing team.
- Proven ability to drive revenue and profitability in upscale, fast-paced environments.
- Expertise in delivering exceptional guest service to a discerning, international clientele.
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, industry trends, and best practices in high-end dining with entertainment.
- Ability to handle the demands of a high-profile venue, including multitasking, prioritizing, and adapting to a fast-moving environment.
