We are looking for our new "Regional Purchasing & CSR Data Executive" to be located in MEA Regional Headquarter, Ataşehir / İstanbul. This role will be reporting to the Regional Purchasing Director.
Job Description
Strategic
- Leveraging data analytics in procurement, providing valuable insights into spend, supplier performance, and risk; for identifying areas for improvement.
- Reinforcing the strategic sourcing initiatives by providing market intelligence reports.
- Creating a centralized Regional Purchasing Data Hub to standardize data and build collaborative ecosystems with internal stakeholders and suppliers for cost, innovation, and risk management.
Operational
- Participating in the Regional tender preparations for ocean freight & some other purchasing categories by analyzing the needs of the entities, preparing the tender documents and analysing the bids,
- Performing market analysis to benchmark supplier pricing and purchasing performance against industry standards,
- Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports to provide insights into purchasing activities in the Region by using business intelligence tools,
- Defining and implementing qualitative and quantitative monitoring tools to track and display purchasing performance indicators,
- Monitoring and reporting on risk management, cost saving and innovative projects across purchasing categories & across MEA entities by providing data-driven approaches,
- Analyzing, consolidating and reporting of the MEA entities’ monthly rolling purchasing price forecast; focusing on the impact of variable cost and adherence with the budget,
- Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports to provide insights into sustainability activities in the Region, by using business intelligence tools,
- Defining and implementing qualitative and quantitative monitoring tools to track and display sustainability performance indicators,
- Promoting digital & communication tools for developing the Regional Purchasing Network and Regional CSR Network.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Management,
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis and minimum 3 years experience in purchasing,
- Experience of ocean freight operations, shipping markets, and international trade (preferred),
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data,
- Stakeholder managmenet, ability to work with cross-functional teams and influence change,
- Agility and resilience for adapting to complex and evolving landscape, with sense-and-respond mindset,
- Strong understanding of sustainability principles and passion for creating positive change,
- Attention to detail and the ability to work with large volumes of data,
- Proficiency in purchasing and logistics softwares, as well as data analytics; expertise in SAP, Ariba and Power BI is preferred,
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Powerpoint, Access etc).
- Excellent reporting skills.
