Job Description

What you will do


The Quality Supervisor in Izmır Plant ensures continuous improvement in Production Quality Deliverables like IPPM, SPPM, and Warranty. They act as the primary contact for Operations, handling critical customer issues, monitoring Quality Key measures, and managing customer-specific initiatives. They also ensure the implementation of Quality Systems such as ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015, and ISO45001:2018.


This role involves assessing and approving post S.O.P. Supplier PPAPs, providing technical support to resolve supplier issues, analyzing production defects, and maintaining control plans. The Quality Supervisor reviews and updates Quality Gates and control points based on customer feedback and performs various audits, including Layered Process Audits (LPA), Process Audits, and Gemba Audits.


Supporting the continuous improvement of Operator Description Sheets (ODS) is another key responsibility. The Quality Supervisor uses statistical tools, mentors, and trains team members in statistical applications. They develop and improve inspection quality control checklists using customer complaints and field service data, and supervise final quality inspectors.


How you will do


  • Prepare and submit internal training on quality-related topics.
  • Prepare periodic KPI reports defined by Global and Plant.
  • Perform internal audits.
  • Control problem-solving methods such as 8D Report, Problem Solving, A3, and Lean 6 Sigma.
  • Implement, maintain, and develop a Warranty System using field service data and support Warranty cost improvement.
  • Follow up on corrective actions if warranty issues occur.
  • Flow down in-service failures/claims to Production or Suppliers and follow up on these actions.
  • Interface with the Customer (Parts Return Center) if warranty issues arise, acting as Customer Liaison.
  • Support plant activities to create Warranty Roadmaps and participate in Lessons Learned Workshops.
  • Regularly monitor the Customer Warranty System.
  • Participate in workgroups such as PFMEA, Gemba, Hoshin Kanri, and CI.
  • Ensure the external system and product certification process, including TSEK, Eurovent, PED, and ISO QMS.

What we look for


Required


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Experience with Control Plan, PFMEA, and Part Product Approval processes.
  • ISO 9001:2015 Certified Internal Auditor.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities.

Preferred


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in welding and brazing processes.
  • Familiarity with TSEK, Eurovent, and the Pressure Equipment Directive.
  • Experience in the HVAC industry.
  • Certification in ISO 14001:2015 and/or ISO 45001:2018 standards.
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
  • Experience with SAP and Minitab.
