As a QA and Test Enginee, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test plans. You will work closely with the development and product teams to identify issues, provide feedback, and ensure that the product meets the highest quality standards. The role requires a mix of manual testing, test automation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Design & Planning:
Collaborate with the development and product teams to understand requirements, technical specifications, and user stories.
Design, develop, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on requirements and acceptance criteria.
Ensure test coverage for both functional and non-functional aspects of the software, including UI, API, performance, and security testing.
Test Execution & Reporting:
Execute manual tests, documenting and reporting defects, inconsistencies, or deviations from expected results.
Perform functional, regression, smoke, and acceptance testing across multiple platforms and environments.
Track and document test results, ensuring proper follow-up on issues and retesting of resolved defects.
Collaboration & Communication:
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure that testing aligns with product goals.
Provide regular status updates on test progress, defect tracking, and product readiness.
Participate in sprint planning and reviews to provide feedback on product quality and testing requirements.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure the product meets quality standards through rigorous testing and by following QA best practices.
Advocate for quality within the development team by participating in code reviews and ensuring that testing is a key part of the development lifecycle.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in QA and testing roles
Strong experience with manual and automated testing tools and techniques.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail and quality.
Ability to handle multiple projects and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
