Job Description
General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
- Participate in the planning and formulating of design alternatives and solutions for the construction project.
- Work closely with project sponsors, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.
- Manage program and project teams for optimal return on investment and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives.
- Identify key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Develop and manage project budget and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives.
- Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department.
- Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders.
- Communicate with the Client representatives continuously regarding Project Progress and areas of concern.
- Develop and administer project budgets, fiscal controls, contracts, and quality control provisions.
- Direct work sequencing to expedite project delivery and minimize disruption of ongoing operations.
- Ensure that project operations comply with design specifications and client requirements.
- Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals, and Procedures within Hill International and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.
Skills
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited University.
- Minimum 20 years experience in managing large-scale infrastructure programs consisting of multiple projects.
- Experience with major government and/or semi-government programs and project implementations.
- Extensive Experience in the construction management of water and wastewater works.
- Experience in implementing a zero-accident philosophy.
- A record of engagement with government entities/utility providers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working internationally.
