Production Process Engineer

KeyResponsibilities

BorgWarner PowerDriveSystemsiscurrentlylooking for a dynamic, resultsdrivenperson to join as Production Process Engineer at ourManufacturingPlant in Izmir.

• Controls equipment and processes for the specific technology, ensuring continuousimprovement and production efficiency, in accordance with product/processspecifications.

  
  

• Continuouslycontrols the reliabilityand the performance of the specifictechnologyonallequipmentsthat use it, proposingimprovementprograms to the responsible.

  
  

• Followingupproblemsanddoingtroubleshootingonproductionarea, supervisesinterventionsdue to line stops and the correctrestartof the line.

  
  

• Assistingnew implemented machinery and/or modification projects.

  
  

• Assisting to Engineering & Maintenance Responsible to accept the machine, verifying results vs requirements, analyzing machinery capability and capacity, checking the safety devices.

  
  

• Forecasting the possible dangerous situations and taking action to prevent

  
  

• Assure backup ofallcontrolsystem software

  
  

• Manages the productiontechnical data (processparametersand software).

  
  

• Contributes to the improvementplans (QIP).

  
  

• Developsimprovement for TPM/PM plans.

  
  

• Manages the training for operatorsandtechnicians for new processes/processchanges.

  
  

• Ensurethatalloperating, monitoring, maintenanceandsafetyprocedures are carried out as appropriate

  
  

• Report to the Engineering & MaintenanceResponsibleimmediatelyonproblemsthataffectproductionandkeep the Engineering & Maintenance

  
  

• Responsibleup to dateon the status ofyourarea.

  
  

Education & Experience

• Knowledgeofmechanicaltools, robotics, automation, visionsystem, testingsystemandtheir use in manufacturing, measurementandassembly.

  
  

• Understandingofcurrentmechanical design, analysisandverificationtechniques, robotics, automation, testingsystem.

  
  

• Effective verbal andwrittencommunicationskills, includingthe use of MS Word andExcel.

  
  

• Expertise with PLC Ladder base programming, HMI design andprogrammingand St base programming, RoboticProgramming.

  
  

• Experienceoftroubleshooting, fabricatingand/orrepairingmachinesandmechanical assemblies. Knowledge of SPC.
