 Key Accountabilities:
  • Develop, analyze and interpret statistical and accounting information in order to assess operational results in terms of profitability, performance within the budget and other matters relating to the fiscal soundness and operational efficiency of the plant
  • Prepare budgets: annual and general for the company
  • Prepare economic reports to report to the group's headquarters
  • Functions as a source of knowledge about the details and mechanics of financial systems
  • Responsible for economic feasibility studies
  • Responsible for evaluating the finance department and oversight on internal audit cost accounting and budget controls
  • Coordinate the accounting closings: monthly and annual
  • Directs internal controls in financial and management reporting activities
  • Make sure to support all activities that involve the annual audit carried out by external auditors
  • Generate general ledger activity and allocate among the various corporate entities
  • Responsible for the development of employees to increase the level of talent for the company
  • Establish continuous improvement plans that lead to a more efficient organization
  • Facilitate efficient and open communication within the department and with other departments in the organization
  • Ensure the respect and compliance with the safety and cleanliness rules of the workstation
  • Continuously ensure the improvement of health, safety and environmental conditions
  • Participate in the definition, implementation and maintenance of the organization's policies
  • Participate in the definition of objectives of the Environmental Management Policy, Health and Safety at Work.
  • Actively participate in the continuous improvement of the Environmental Management Policy, Health and Safety at Work
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety at work standards, policies and practices in accordance with their level of responsibility
  • Develop a culture characterized by good professional ethics and involvement in the process among employees in all areas
  • Comply with environmental, health and safety, quality and productivity standards
  • Comply with the organization's rules and internal regulations: Code of Ethics, practice and working period
  • Respect workplace safety and cleanliness rules
  • Perform other tasks not included in the activity for which they were hired, when the needs or convenience of service so warrant, for the period of time necessary for the aforementioned needs or convenience of service
Education & Experience
  • Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Official Accountant (valued)
  • MBA (valued)
  • Minimum of 10 years of business experience characterized by a path of increasing responsibility
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in supervisory positions (preferred)
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • High problem-solving ability
  • Solid knowledge of the country's tax and accounting system
  • Solid knowledge of international accounting standards
  • Solid knowledge of change management principles and processes
  • Working knowledge of the Health and Safety system and procedures
  • Knowledge of the quality management system
  • Good computer skills
  • Results Oriented
  • Interpersonal Communication
  • Fluent in English
  • Availability to travel
