The Payments Processing Analyst is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all types of payments, as well as the handling of payment related investigations. This includes the processing of time-critical transactions on behalf of the Bank's internal and external clients, payment related investigations involving enquiries from clients and internal stakeholders on payments before and after execution.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Domestic and Cross border payment processing via Central bank local clearing and Swift systems.
- Processing of Client Utility, Social Security payments & Cheques.
- Regulatory reporting for all kinds of Domestic and Cross border payments, Utility, Social Security payments & Cheques etc.
- Perform regular controlling activities and Payment investigations.
- Support all other multiple tasks requested by Branch Operation teams.
- Monitoring of regulations, procedures and ensuring adherence of all processes to the respective regulations, procedures.
- Performing High risk Media controls with external clients for their instructions.
- Ensures close coordination with related departments, fosters teamwork to optimize internal and external customer contacts.
- Participates in User Acceptance Tests when there is a change / improvement in the Core banking application.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree level (Graduate degree is preferred).
- At least 2 years’ Experience in payment operations with a local/international commercial bank or other financial institution
- Experience and knowledge of ISO 20022 Swift Message standards is a plus.
- Prone to work with a team.
- Excellent Microsoft office programs knowledge
- Fluent in Turkish & English both verbal and written.
- Strong financial skills along with analytical ability
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact effectively with internal & external clients.
