What is the role about?
Ensure storage, transport and handling of products for all sites within his/her area of responsibility. Ensure the quality of supply chain operations and distribution of products in a cost-effective and timely manner, in line with customer demand and WSS standards.
Who would you be working with?
The position reports to the Area Operations Director.
Role responsibilities
Ensure availability of products and cylinders at location
Ensure efficient handling of goods
Ensure deliveries are made according to the order’s requested wanted delivery date
Participate in strategy and business development for the defined country/countries
Responsible for the implementation of the agreed strategy and for the financial and operational performance within the defined country/countries
Continuously improvement of delivery and service operations
Coordinate with Regional Inventory Planner to ensure an overall optimum level of inventories in accordance with customer demand
Ensure continuous training of Operations personnel
Monitor development of operations cost
Responsible for local purchasing and cost management in line with COA and SOP.
Control and manage operational assets
Ensure storage according to regulations and WSS standards
Ensure operations are executed in line with safety rules and local regulations
Ensure that overall safety and QHSSE requirements for sites/warehouses under his/her responsibility are according to WSS standards and governance
Any other responsibility put forward by the direct manager not covered by this FD (within reasonable limits)

Relevant education
Good operational management skills with a proactive, decisive and result-oriented approach

Very good command of the Turkısh & English language (spoken and written)

Systematic and accurate nature
Additional preferences
Knowledge of the marine industry and Wilhelmsen Ships Service preferably
Local management experience
Experience with ERP systems (IFS)
An understanding of the local market as a key driver for achieving business growth and efficiencies
