We are looking for an''Officer - Procurement''for our company inIstanbul, Turkiye.
Key Qualifications;


  • Fabric purchase, analysis, fabric costing, weaving and yarn costing
  • Plan the total bulk production with the vendors as per the order quantity and quality norms
  • Responsible for streamlining the production of fabric with the suppliers
  • Trend forecasting and seasonal fabric collection and presentation
  • Liaise with internal designers, merchandisers, overseas clients and suppliers
  • Provide fabric technical support and sourcing
  • Follow development of new fabrics as they are sourced
  • Generate fabric cards once fabrics are spaced and maintain all pertinent information throughout approval status of both sample and stock
  • Collect and document stock pricing/lead-time/minimum and surcharge information for each fabric card
  • Negotiate prices and timing with suppliers for samples and stock
  • Send color standards to vendors and track lab dip submits for custom color fabrics and follow with design counterpart for approval comments

Requirements


  • Degree or Above in Textile or related disciplines
  • Minimum 4 years' relevant experience
  • Strong product and material knowledge with good development skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with the team, communicate effectively with internal and external parties
  • Strong problem-solving skills
