We are looking for an''Officer - Procurement''for our company inIstanbul, Turkiye. Key Qualifications;
Fabric purchase, analysis, fabric costing, weaving and yarn costing
Plan the total bulk production with the vendors as per the order quantity and quality norms
Responsible for streamlining the production of fabric with the suppliers
Trend forecasting and seasonal fabric collection and presentation
Liaise with internal designers, merchandisers, overseas clients and suppliers
Provide fabric technical support and sourcing
Follow development of new fabrics as they are sourced
Generate fabric cards once fabrics are spaced and maintain all pertinent information throughout approval status of both sample and stock
Collect and document stock pricing/lead-time/minimum and surcharge information for each fabric card
Negotiate prices and timing with suppliers for samples and stock
Send color standards to vendors and track lab dip submits for custom color fabrics and follow with design counterpart for approval comments

Requirements
Degree or Above in Textile or related disciplines
Minimum 4 years' relevant experience
Strong product and material knowledge with good development skills
Ability to build strong relationships with the team, communicate effectively with internal and external parties
Strong problem-solving skills
