Purpose of the Job
Assist locally the “OSC Design Leader” (OCS DL) in his role of performing the Design activities (Basic, Detailed…)
Organisation Reporting
The position reports hierarchically to the Overhead Contact Systems Engineering Manager in AMECA..
The position reports functionally to the OCS Sub-System Manager and/or to the Overhead Contact Systems Design Leader
Network & Links
The OCS DE will liaise with:
- Engineering: The project/tender Design team, the related regional/central Design team and other Infra/Sys Design teams,
- Project: The project/tender management team,
- Site: The project construction and T&C teams,
- Support functions : Sourcing…
- External interface: Suppliers, Subcontractors, Partners.
Performance Measurement/KPI’s
The OCS DE’s work will be evaluated according to:
- The following points for the documentation produced by his project Design team:On-time delivering: 100%,
- Respect of Design For Quality milestones: 100% Go On Time, in accordance with the standards or rules of his Metier,
- Respect of performances of the system Designed: 100%.
Responsibilities
- Work in coordination with the OCS design manager (in OFF)
- Updated the pegging plans following the changes and adaptations.
- Updating the principle and assembly plans according to customer comments
- Monitoring the status of OCS documentation.
- Monitoring of construction progress and make necessary adjustments as required.
- Participation in interface meetings and updated thes specifications.
- Completing the matrix of requirements verification (enter data on the software).
- Weekly reporting to the design manager and SSM.
- Preparation of BOQ
Knowledge & Experience :
- Graduated from engineering school in mechanics/material science,
- A minimum of two-three years of experience within OCS engineering department,
- A minimum of one project experience in the OCS technology related to the project/tender.
- Good knowledge in the OCS technology to develop for the project/tender,
- Ability to execute Basic and Detailed Design studies.
- Autonomy, motivated, initiative, good communication and interested in technical topics,
- Fluent English, Spanish appreciated,
- Good drafting of written documents,
- Mastering of 2D/3D CAD softwares and usual office softwares.
