JOB PURPOSE
To coordinate and ensure that sales and marketing activities are carried out in accordance with the management system definitions. To ensure that reporting is made in specified periods. To determine strategies to increase the market share and sales of products by establishing effective communication with the Regional Managers under his/her responsibility, to follow the competitors in the market and to contribute to the company to take timely action on developments.
To realize the sales targets set within the framework of the strategies determined by the company,
To make the sales plans necessary to realize the annual targets and share them with the Senior Manager
To hold meetings with Regional Managers to monitor prescription potential and sales and to carry out the necessary preliminary work to increase sales,
Evaluating the activity reports of Regional Managers and forwarding them to the subordinate manager,
To visit the regions regularly; to report the order and stock status to the headquarters in the specified periods and format.
To follow the sales in their regions on daily basis, to organize regular meetings, to supervise Regional Managers, to take action to solve necessary problems,
To contribute to the training and development activities of existing or newly recruited Regional Managers and Product Promotion Specialists,
Monitoring Regional Managers in terms of performance, productivity, motivation, team management and energy,
To follow the activities of competitors (campaigns, new sales conditions, sales organization structuring),
To closely monitor the campaign lists of pharmaceutical warehouses and the financial status of pharmaceutical warehouses and to ensure the management of orders in crisis situations that may arise,
Position Opella as a strategic partner to all accounts at National Level
Liaise with Marketing and national accounts to ensure field sales activities are complementary and participate in the preparation of overall sales strategies and annual business plan.
Build and maintain strong business partnerships with key stakeholders in all accounts
Provide support in developing the customer roadmap in order to facilitate the achievement of medium- and long-term business growth objectives.
Lead, motivate and coach Regional Sales Managers and Key Accounts Managers to maximize their performance.
People Leadership
Provides appropriate and timely feedback about performance and coaches team members to help them achieve their goals
Supports the professional and career development of the team by identifying the skills and competencies that employees need for their current and prospective roles and provide opportunities to learn and practice new skills
Leads the building of a motivated and engaged team through the use of formal and informal recognition, regular communications and the encouragement of cooperation between individuals and teams
Maintain Compliance
Abide by the requirements of the internal Code of Ethics including but not restricted to maintaining high professional standards of conduct in line with the Company procedure with a duty of care to the reputation of the Company
Ethical Leadership
Takes personal accountability to use personal experience and knowledge, as well as the training and tools provided by Opella, to maintain a good knowledge and understanding of all ethics and governance relevant to the role (Opella Policies and Procedures and any relevant legal requirements) and demonstrate personal leadership in applying these to all work undertaken.
Escalates any decisions, or seek the support of colleagues or management if personal knowledge and understanding is not at the level required to carry out any part of the role
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a related field;
Advanced level of English
Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar position preferably at FMCG or Pharmaceuticals.
Strong people management skills. Ability to manage large teams.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency with MS Office Tools.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams,
Strong project management skills.
