Materials Manager, Izmir, Gaziemir

What you will do

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Materials Manager to join our team at the İzmir Plant. As a Materials Manager, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and monitoring materials planning, inventory control, storage, shipping, and receiving activities to ensure that our organization has access to the inputs, materials, goods, and services it needs for current and future operations.

How you will do

• Plan, direct, and monitor materials planning, inventory control, storage, shipping, and receiving activities
• Ensure the organization has access to the necessary inputs, materials, goods, and services
• Provide input into new processes or standards to support the organization's short-term strategies
• Adapt or enhance quality or value in existing methods
• Solve problems that may be vaguely defined and require understanding and consideration of other job areas
• Use broad theory and principles within a discipline or advanced technical/operational practices
• Occasionally use advanced knowledge and skills within a specific discipline, integrating theory and principles with organizational practices

What we look for

• University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 6 years of experience for medium/small organization size plants
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles
• Proficiency in using materials management software and systems
