Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Engineer to support our mechanical and electrical teams at our plant. The ideal candidate will possess a good background in engineering and maintenance, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Mechanical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- 3-5 years experinence in a similar role
- Proficient in PC and MS Office applications; experience with PLC programming (Siemens S7-1200, S7-300) preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset
- Ability to lead and motivate teams
- Capable of working independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English
- Candidates residing in the Anatolian Side of Istanbul or Izmit are preferred
- Preferably no military obligation for male candidates
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Support and guide the mechanical and electrical teams to ensure efficient operations
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and support continuous production
- Root Cause Analysis: Analyze equipment failures to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent future breakdowns
- Production Support: Collaborate with production teams and actively participate in meetings to address maintenance needs
- KPI Management: Develop and execute work plans to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as downtime, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and preventive maintenance completion rates
- Inventory Management: Track spare parts inventory and manage orders to ensure necessary supplies are available
- Safety Compliance: Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are consistently upheld in all maintenance activities
- Project Support: Assist in investment projects and the commissioning of new equipment
- Continuous Improvement: Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) activities, driving continuous improvement projects to enhance machine efficiency and implement 5S methodologies
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all activities align with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) requirements, including managing contractors and third-party vendors
