As Sika Construction Chemicals Inc., we are looking for team members to join our growing organization as a 'Maintenance Engineer' reporting to the Engineering and Maintenance Manager. We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications.
The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and optimization of all equipment and systems within the facility. This role involves developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs, diagnosing equipment issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The Maintenance Engineer will work closely with production teams and external contractors to ensure optimal performance of all equipment, contributing to the overall operational efficiency of the plant.
Job Description
- Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program for all equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment issues in a timely manner to support uninterrupted production.
- Manage and oversee maintenance schedules, repairs, and improvements for equipment, including HVAC, compressors, pumps, motors, and production machinery.
- Coordinate with the production team to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and safety checks to comply with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor and maintain spare parts inventory, ensuring critical components are available when needed.
- Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and ensure compliance with contract specifications and timelines.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations and policies within the maintenance department.
- Identify and recommend improvements in maintenance processes and equipment upgrades to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Preferably knowledge and experience in BEAM, SAP PM maintenance software,
- Tracking and following up department budget.
- Management of the energy resources and energy saving projects
Qualifications
- Graduated from Electrical-Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics departments of universities,
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Qualified Engineer with an Electrical and/or Mechanical background
- Good analytical, team leadership, and organizational skills
- Prone to teamwork, effective communication skills and strong coordination ability,
- Ability to work autonomously and hands on working style
- Experience with Health and Safety legislation
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to lead and direct to support the business strategy
- Computer skills (MS Office, CMMS, AUTOCAD, etc.)
- Good English Level
