Job Description
In the role of Logistics Transport Engineer, you will have the change to shape the future transport landscape at Bosch for the EMEA region. You will work centrally at Global Logistics Services supporting the worldwide implementation of the Next Generation Transport Management (NGTM) for air and sea freight transports.
- Responsible for optimizing and monitoring the intercontinental transport network in accordance with given requirements as well as support the roll-out of the Next Generation Transport Management (NGTM) for sea- and airfreight at Bosch EMEA
- Hypercare of implementation quality in the NGTM system on multi-plant level for EMEA region
- Daily manual Forwarder Pickup Advice (FPA) content and transmission check (e.g. transport mode, shipping type), clarifying and requesting modification with EMEA stakeholders
- NGTM system monitoring for errors between systems on multi-plant level
- LSP EDI monitoring and load assignment follow-up with LSPs
- Review NGTM system usage of global stakeholders; re-training where required
- Participate in process improvement activities
- Ensure expected performance of the defined transportation network on route level
- Take part in the implementation and support internal/external departments
Qualifications
- Degree/Master in Industrial Engineering
- 3 years experience in logistics applications, transport background preferred
- Transportation background in air- and seafreight processes is an asset
- SAP MM/WM Experience (SAP Power User/Expert experience is an asset)
- Knowledge of different digital platforms, tech-savvy
- Proficiency with Microsoft office tools (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills (team player, sharing know-how and results with colleagues)
- Ability to take ownership for own work and apply own initiative to find solutions
- Results-oriented, methodical and pro-active attitude with a strong problem-solving mindset
- Strong customer orientation, intrinsic motivation to enhance logistics service quality
- Ability to work under pressure in a very dynamic work environment
- Attention to detail and ability to innovate while keeping the big picture in mind
- Fluent in English and Turkish, German is an asset
