How you will do
- Operations Management: Take the reins and supervise all warehouse activities, from receiving to inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping
- Staff Management: Lead, train, and evaluate a passionate team of warehouse staff; ensure optimal staffing levels and manage employee schedules seamlessly
- Inventory Control: Keep a keen eye on inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and implement cutting-edge inventory management systems to maintain accurate records
- Safety Compliance: Make safety a priority! Ensure adherence to safety regulations and procedures while conducting engaging safety training for staff
- Process Improvement: Be the driving force behind identifying opportunities for process enhancements that boost efficiency and productivity within warehouse operations
- Budget Management: Collaborate in developing and managing the warehouse budget, monitoring costs, and optimizing resource allocation for maximum impact
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure our warehouse equipment, including forklifts, shelving units, and packing machinery, is in top-notch condition
- Reporting: Prepare and present insightful reports on warehouse performance metrics, such as inventory levels, order fulfillment rates, and staffing efficiency
- Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with other departments, including procurement, sales, and logistics teams, to ensure seamless operations and communication
- Customer Service: Be the hero for our customers by addressing and resolving any issues related to order fulfillment promptly and effectively!
What We Look For
Required
- A Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role within warehouse operations, showcasing your leadership skills
- Local Driving License
- A minimum of 5 years of solid experience in team management within warehouse operations and inventory management, including familiarity with receiving GRNs, delivery DNs, PODs, cycle counts, annual stock counts, and stock reconciliation
- Proficient communication skills in both spoken and written English to effectively connect with our diverse team and partners
- Ability to effectively liaise with 3PL service providers and ensure expected service levels and performance
- Strong leadership and team management abilities that inspire and motivate your team
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and SAP to drive operational excellence
- In-depth knowledge of inventory management techniques to optimize our processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to tackle challenges head-on
- A proactive approach to investigating non-conformities, stock variances, and customer claims, with a commitment to implementing corrective and preventive measures
