Join Our Team! Your Responsibilities: Represent SCM function in the Large Project Office (LPO) discussions with other functions and HBU stakeholders. Contribute to Core Team reviews and HBU Risk reviews on behalf of SCM for the specific tender assigned. Communicate to and update the LPO Organization and HBU SCM about the tender sourcing plan status and Project Procurement status for the Large Project Tenders and Order. Represent SCM function as escalation point of the Large Project Office SCM issues detected during execution. Act as a single point of contact for escalations related to SCM issues in the LPO tenders. Lead the required SCM stakeholders and collaborate with non-SCM members to successfully execute and perform SCM scope of the LPO tender. Ensure sourcing and costing strategy is discussed with the tender team and aligned with the relevant SCM line functions in order to cover the tender needs. Ensure that supplier deliverables (offers, documentation, etc.) are provided in the required format and within the specified timeline to fulfill tender deadlines and requirements. Prepare, drive and/or lead the required SCM tender meetings and/or initiatives necessary to properly manage the SCM scope in the tender (Kick-off, SCM calculation presentation, target cost, etc.). Align with SCM team on the SCM scope of the documentation required for the bid. Monitor and ensure all documentation deliverables per equipment or services are delivered in time for submission. Coordinate with transport manager on input for resources, cost and transport scope. Monitor the status of the Procurement activities in the LPO during execution with through regular communication with the Local/Lead Project SCM involved. Identify potential SCM risks and opportunities in the tender or execution of the Large Projects and define and/or support on the definition of mitigation actions when required. Identify gaps and cost driving contractual requirements and inform accordingly to tender team for their further discussion with the customer. Ensure that offer handling process is followed in a timely manner by all the involved SCM and non-SCM stakeholders during the tender stage. Provide SCM input about critical equipment & service lead time and milestones to be considered in the project timeline. Ensure technical requirements are aligned with Engineering and shared with the suppliers for obtaining costs and deviations. Ensure that the tender team considers the necessary budget to cover all SCM costs during project execution (including resources, transport, material cost, SCM provisions, escalation formulas, etc.) to avoid margin deterioration during the project. Ensure all commercial requirements requested by customer are provided by the tender team to SCM in order to cascade them down to the suppliers RFQs. Ensure Hitachi Energy GTCs are considered in the negotiation of the offers. Ensure that previous experiences, from both project and tenders, are taken into account to influence new tenders and drive continuous improvements. Share insights and new cases with SCM and the tender team. Plan and execute the hand over from tender (budget risk, deviations, pre-conditions etc.) to the Lead Project SCM to give the best possible preconditions for a smooth project. Ensure accurate data of the tender related SCM is included and maintained in main SCM tools. Your Background: 10 years of experience in Procurement Activities. Hands on MS Excel, SAP tools, (Power BI is a plus). Project SCM Management requires general technical knowledge to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for a procurement process. SCM information development, schedules, procurement estimates, status reports, conducting Supplier risk analysis and monitoring the progress of plans against project milestones and budgets. Analytical and Risk mitigation Skills. Strategical thinking. Effectiveness in Operations. Communication skills and multicultural sensitivity. Advanced negotiation skills and sourcing techniques. Ensuring adherence to quality standards and review of project deliverables. Analyzing and documenting requirements by liaising with a range of users in the organization. On some Tenders, where applicable, manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
