We are looking for a Laboratory Technician for our Pharma & Healthcare team who will be responsible for laboratory processes.


Mission

The Laboratory Technician assists the Laboratory Manager in the development of formulations for the promotion of Azelis products and inclusion in customer formulation projects.


Main Accountabilities
  • Support and partially drive development and testing of new formulations, applications and chemistries:
    • Support and develop new product concepts to enter new customer/market segments;
    • Support sampling process (for customers, seminars and exhibitions);
  • Support sales team by making joint customer visits
  • Support customers on production trials if necessary
  • Drive innovation through the Market segment’s lateral value chain;
  • Create digital content for customer portal;
  • Support and drive customer/supplier and in-house seminars;
  • Work in close collaboration with the sales team to support project development and trouble shooting;
  • Ensure tracking and reporting on innovation & pipeline development;
  • Drive and support responsibility for the lab (safety, maintenance and quality standards).
  • Translate the Group’s Sustainability Strategy into concrete job-related action items and contribute actively and timely to the implementation of the sustainability KPIs
Experience, Skills & Education
  • Bachelors degree on  Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Pharmacy
  • Speaking and writing fluent English 
  • Min. 3 years of experience in R&D in the relevant market segment;
  • Strong analytical approach, work towards high quality standards and attention to detail;
  • Self-motivated and dynamic mindset;
  • Great affinity with customers and market dynamics;
  • Strong IT skills and interest to use digital tools;
  • Loves to work in a dynamic and commercially driven team;
