Key Account Manager FBB, BAKING ME


Job Description


Tasks and responsibilities


  • Driving Strategic Growth: Transforming industry trends, business developments, and customer needs into actionable strategic sales opportunities, with a strong focus on baking and milling across the Middle East.
  • Customer Engagement & Business Development: Inspiring key accounts by introducing Novonesis’ latest technologies and concepts, identifying new business areas, and co-creating solutions that drive long-term partnerships.
  • Account & Project Management: Leading commercial projects from initial concept to full implementation, ensuring that product offerings align with customer, market, and industry demands.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Aligning and coordinating key accounts with internal stakeholders such as technical service, marketing, and supply operations, ensuring seamless execution of demand planning and order fulfillment.
  • Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with key decision-makers within customer organizations to ensure long-term success and account growth.
  • Negotiation & Contract Management: Strategically planning and executing pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and commercial agreements to secure sustainable business outcomes.
  • Market Intelligence & Customer Engagement: Conducting regular market visits, engaging directly with customers, participating in trials at bakeries, and providing internal teams with valuable market insights to support data-driven decision-making.

Basic Qualifications


  • Hold a degree (MSc or MBA) in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a Technical degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years of work experience, with at least 5 years in a relevant role.
  • Preferable experience with well-known players in the baking ingredients industry.
  • Demonstrated passion for sales and promotion of technical products.
  • Commercially focused with a growth-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to create mutually beneficial solutions and maintain good customer relations.
  • Fluency in English is a must.
  • Enjoy working within teams, capable of navigating both internal networks of colleagues and external networks of partners and customers.
  • Strong drive and positive mindset.
  • High ability to learn and goal-oriented.
  • Well-organized with a can-do attitude.
  • Strong teamwork skills for working with global colleagues.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the Middle East region.
  • Ability to drive inspirational and convincing dialogues with customers.
  • Proficient in IT skills.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.

Candidate should have prior sales and/or business development experience.


Candidate should have baking or milling ingredients industry experience.


Candidate should have strong interpersonal, communication skills in English and should be a team player.


The role will require a strategic go to market approach and techno-commercial acumen.
