Job Title: Key Account Engineer (Mining)
Division: Weir Minerals

Purpose of Role:
This role is crucial for increasing key customer sales and satisfaction. The Key Account Engineer will manage two designated accounts and develop sales strategies and customer relations to boost OE and AM sales. They will build strong relationships with key decision-makers and ensure sales targets and profitability goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Increase Sales: Drive the sales of OE and AM in the two designated major mining accounts in Turkey, ensuring budgeted order intake and profitability.
  • Customer Relations: Regularly visit customer sites to understand and meet their needs, maintain high-level contacts, and build strong relationships with decision-makers.
  • Sales Opportunities: Maximize sales opportunities for Weir Minerals' product portfolio, maintain up-to-date records in CRM (SalesForce), and identify customers' OE and AM needs upfront.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Ensure reporting procedures are followed, maintain accurate records of sales documents, and develop sales presentations.
  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero-harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:


  • Preferably a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mining, Mineral, or other related departments.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the mining sector.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.
  • Driving license is mandatory.
  • No obstacle to travel.
