The position


As an IT Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for overall IT On-site Support in BAMEAC (Business Area Middle East Africa CIS) and SEEMEA (South East Europe Middle East Africa) IstHub offices, Turkish & Azerbaijan affiliates and associated sites in Türkiye, managing on-site IT support activities and partnering with the ServiceDesk provider to ensure SLAs are met. You will be required to escalate issues that need special attention and ensure IT service quality according to Novo Nordisk requirements. Your responsibility areas will be


  • Being accountable for ensuring IT on-site support services availability in the affiliates.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships as IT business partner with diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Providing user onboarding/training where required and ensuring user satisfaction.
  • Managing the IT equipment lifecycle process, including procurement, asset, and stock management.
  • Assisting and collaborating in IT project implementation and maintaining a cooperative relationship with different vendors.

Active participation in both virtual and in-person meetings of the Global IT Operations team (GITO) is required.


Qualifications


You hold a university degree in IT/Computer Science or bachelor’s degree with relevant discipline. You have at least 5 years of IT support related experience and are fluent in oral and written English and Turkish.


  • Working in International environment is an asset.
  • Having an experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow is an additional asset.
  • Having an appropriate service management program (ITIL. certification) is a plus.
  • You have some experience leading a small team of up to 2 people.

About the department


You will be joining the Global IT Organisation, a strong global community of more than 1200 skilled IT professionals, who are responsible for IT systems, services, and projects in Novo Nordisk, working in a truly global organization based on agile principles.  Your department will be part Global IT Operations team (GITO), an area with employees distributed across more than 25 countries, working in virtual teams, managing our infrastructure operations, service desk & IT support, and digital workplace services. You will serve the Turkish & Azerbaijan business organizations from the Istanbul office.
