Job Description:


The IT & Cloud Infrastructure Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of the organization's IT systems and cloud infrastructure, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and compliant with relevant regulations and standards. This role involves managing a team of IT professionals and cloud engineers, collaborating with cross-functional departments, and implementing best practices for cloud architecture, data security, and IT governance. The position also focuses on monitoring compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2) and regulatory requirements while maintaining an up-to-date understanding of technological trends and risks.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design, deploy, and maintain robust, secure, and scalable cloud and on-premises infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures that align with industry standards and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor and manage compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2) and internal security protocols.
  • Implement and oversee DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and monitoring, to ensure smooth development and deployment processes to virtual machines and container orchestration systems.
  • Lead incident response planning, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, product management, presales (e.g. RFI response and cloud cost estimation) and legal, to align IT and compliance strategies with business objectives.
  • Oversee IT asset management, ensuring that hardware, software, and data are managed efficiently, cost-effectively and in compliance with organizational policies.
  • Manage and develop the IT team and cloud engineers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Lead troubleshooting and problem-solving activities related to infrastructure.
  • Manage relationships with third party IT and infrastructure service providers.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT management, cloud infrastructure, and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and IT security frameworks.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2) and auditing processes.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Knowledge about managing Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and monitoring tools.
  • Experience working with observability, distributed tracing, monitoring and alerting systems (e.g. Grafana, Prometheus, Jaeger, OpenTelemetry)
  • Experience with DevOps practices, infrastructure as code and automated deployment tools
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
