Internal Communication Associate


You will be responsible for supporting internal communication initiatives of JTI Turkey. You will help employees better understand the overarching business strategy for JTI Turkey as well as JTI's corporate purpose, vision, and culture.


You'll collaborate with employees to align departmental communications with JTI's global standards. Your role involves supporting the development of internal communication strategies and enhancing the effectiveness of the company's communication channels. You'll create visual and written content for JTI Turkey's local campaigns, internal social media, and announcement screens throughout the factory and offices. Additionally, you'll oversee Social Clubs activities, coordinating closely with the Clubs' Presidents.


The position will be based in Izmir and reporting to Corporate Affairs&Communication Director.


Position:


As the Internal Communication Associate, you will:


  • Support  the Internal Communication Manager in researching and developing new practices for the annual communication plan. Aid in executing the plan and ensuring timely implementation of all initiatives
  • Ensure timely roll-out and localization of global campaigns for both GSC, Market and Leaf entities
  • Support employees with content sharing on the internal social media platform and provide onboarding/training for new users
  • Oversee JTI Turkey's Social Club activities to boost peer communication and employee engagement. Collaborate with Club presidents on planning, organizing, announcements, and compliance. Ensure events align with corporate brand and engage employees
  • Support as Co-editor of the Quarterly Market Newsletter for Market employees by collecting content, performing necessary edits, finalizing the draft, and ensuring timely submission of each edition
  • Support the Internal Communication Manager in creating JTI branded local communication materials (e.g., posters, banners, videos). Contribute to setting and implementing the factory and office signage strategy, and continuously optimize the effectiveness of this channel

Requirements:


  • University degree
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in corporate communication
  • Excellent command of written and verbal English
  • Advanced level of MS Office applications knowledge, proficiency in Canva
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to collaborate effectively with different departments and stakeholders, analytical thinking
