You will support the Market Access & Strategic Government Partnership team, which is a set of strategies, activities, and processes that Medtronic develops to ensure that our products, therapies, solutions are made timely available to all eligible patients and are adequately priced in a specific healthcare system.
Internship details:
• Start date: April
• Duration: 6 months
• Working hours: 40 h/week with flexibility (holiday period)
• Working model: Hybrid (at least 2 days in the office)
• Travel: Yes, < 25 % of the time
• Location: Istanbul or Ankara
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
• Supports our Operating Units (OUs) in delivering their key messages to government officials
• Works closely with the Health Economics, Policy, and Reimbursement (HEPR) team to support with submitting and following-up with Medtronic applications, within the DMO program and SGK reimbursement
• Supports with preparing analysis for government officials at appropriate levels as they take decisions and develop policies that will affect Medtronic Business
• Supports with document flow tracking between Government and Market Access Department
• Assists with the development, monitoring, coordination, and implementation of projects related with Healthcare Procurement and Reimbursement System
• Investigates and communicates potential opportunities for process improvement as well as potential project initiatives
Required knowledge:
• Last year of university or a recent graduate with a degree in Engineering and/or Economy, Business, Public Affairs
• An excellent command of the English and Turkish, both spoken and written
• Proficient in Excel
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word)
• Focus on results and quality
Would be a plus:
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn on-the-job
• A passion to learn and have an open mind to accept new concepts/techniques
• Good planning and analytical skills
