Our high retention rate is influenced by a unique compensation program for positions that are more than just jobs - they're chances to grow, do what you love and build a career with us!Job DescriptionMajor Duties and ResponsibilitiesExecute Regular IS Basic Tasks to keep the systems up & runningEnsure adherence to Company policies and proceduresTrain branch management on system architecture, data management, retention and reporting, and other available IT tools to improve processes, productivity and customer serviceBasic Branch Technical Support such PC, LAN, Expeditors Software and systems administration & troubleshooting, in addition to global, regional and branch project implementationOn call for after-hours IS issues including Day end problemsAsset Management such as purchasing, shipping, tracking and maintenancePrepare and execute the annual tactical business plan for IS departmentProvide technical assistance within branchResponsible for compliance with Expeditors, all the procedures related to IS and conduct regular branch IS audits.Regular communication with Regional IS Manager and District Manager.Offers suggestions and comments to Regional IS Manager for system improvementsAssists District Manager with preparation of the department budgetSupport branch disaster recovery efforts as they occurDeliver IS training courses within the branch and trains sales people on systems features and benefitsBe supportive and actively participate in Sales calls where needed and appropriateInitiates and follow up independently on IS projectsQualificationsBasic PC & network skillsEffective problem solvingAbility to handle multiple tasks/projectsDemonstrated customer service skills and proven interpersonal skillsGood communication skillsInquisitive and exploratory mind-setFluent in EnglishTurkish is a must. Additional InformationExpeditors offers excellent benefits:Paid Vacation, Health Plan: MedicalLife InsuranceEmployee Stock Purchase PlanTraining and Personnel Development ProgramGrowth opportunities within the companyEmployee Assistance Program
