As a member of the Engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire mobile development lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of cutting-edge AI-powered applications. You will lead a talented team of mobile developers to create exceptional user experiences for both iOS and Android platforms, working closely alongside some of the brightest minds in the mobile app arena. Your expertise and dedication will be essential in shaping the development and success of our apps. 

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead and manage the mobile development team, providing direction, mentorship, and support to developers and other team members.
• Oversee the development and delivery of scalable Flutter applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, AI) to define mobile strategies and implement best practices.
• Drive the architecture, design, and development of AI-integrated mobile applications, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Stay updated on the latest mobile technologies, frameworks, and trends, applying them to improve the team's processes and outputs.
• Manage project timelines, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources efficiently to ensure timely delivery of high-quality apps.
• Assist in recruiting and expanding the mobile development team as needed.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Proven experience (5+ years) in mobile development, preferably with a deep understanding of Swift, Objective-C, and iOS frameworks
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role, overseeing mobile app development teams
• Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality mobile applications with a focus on user experience and performance
• Experience with AI or machine learning integration in mobile apps is a strong plus
• Solid knowledge of Flutter is a strong plus
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively
• English language proficiency at B1 level or above

What does the recruitment process look like?

1. Application Review: We will carefully review your CV to evaluate your accomplishments and qualifications.

2. Interview: A 30-minute Google Meet interview with our People & Culture Specialist will be conducted to discuss your experience, expectations, and potential synergies. This will help us determine how we can collaborate effectively.

3. Technical Meeting: A Google Meet session with our team lead will be arranged for you to engage in in-depth discussions on technical topics that align with your expertise. You will be asked specific questions to further showcase your technical skills.

4. Team Meeting: You will have an in-person meeting with the founders of AppNation, during which we will discuss your expectations and explore how you can contribute to our team. This interview will also provide an opportunity for you to gain insights into AppNation's culture and working environment.

5. Final Decision: Within a few days, we will inform you of our decision regarding your suitability for the role.
