We are looking for a Head of Finance to join the management team at Azelis Turkiye
Mission
Head of Finance is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the company, developing strategies to drive profitability and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations. This role involves managing budgets, financial planning and analysis, risk management and leading local finance team to align with the organisation’s strategic goals.
Main Accountabilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including executives, senior management team, banks, auditors and regulatory authorities.
- Collaborate with management team to align financial strategies with organizational objectives, fostering cross-departmental communication and cooperation.
- Ensure all financial reporting is in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (IFRS) and in compliance with all regulatory financial reporting and tax requirements.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
- Monitor and evaluate business performance across all departments, identifying variances from budgets and forecasts.
- Oversee cash management process, including daily cash flow monitoring, forecasting and ensuring adequate liquidity for operational needs.
- Monitor and manage the company’s credit exposure, ensuring compliance with risk limits and minimizing potential losses.
- Responsible for ensuring the presence and functioning of internal controls over the company and financial reporting.
- Execute the post-merger integration of the newly acquired companies.
- Lead local projects, inclusion digitalization, implementations / upgrades of IT systems and improvements of processes/procedures
- People Management
- Line management and coaching of the team, stimulate high quality performance of team members.
- Identify training needs with the team.
- Responsible for retention, recruiting, training, rewarding, etc..
- Sustainability
- Translate the Group’s Sustainability Strategy into concrete job-related action items and contribute actively and timely to the implementation of the sustainability KPIs
Experience, Skilles & Education
- Master/bachelor’s degree in business Finance or Business Administration
- Minimum experience of 15 years with minimum 5 years experience in a similar position, essential in International companies.
- Ability to influence and achieve results through others;
- Ability to liaise with people at all levels both internally and externally;
- Ability to lead, carry out financial projects accurately and on time.
- Communication skills, influence and negotiation techniques at all levels.
- Problem solving and decision making. Team player while able to work on his own initiative. Analytical skills;
- Fluency in English spoken and written.
- Advanced user of various IT tools.
Reporting line and organisational level
- Operationally to the MD
- Functionally to the Corporate Finance Manager
