We are now looking for a dynamic, organized, enthusiastic, self-starter to join our team. The person who takes this position will be positioned in Istanbul office.As the Global Purchasing Specialist in Insider day in and day out you will;
- Work with the procurement team.
- Identify global vendors and suppliers for unique equipment purchases and manage and maintain excellent vendor relations.
- Support the procurement function includes preparing specifications, solicitation documents, managing evaluations, drafting requests for consent for the contracting officer and overseeing vendor selection processes.
- Maintain vendor relationships, contacts, and pre-qualifications lists.
- Maintain procurement files in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
- Provide procurement procedures and policy guidance and interpretation.
- Coach, mentor and train stakeholders on procurement policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and performance input to Contracts, Procurement and Grants managers in the regions.
- Work with the operations department to prepare property disposition requests.
- Be responsible for the rental periods and contract processes of the countries where real estate is leased.
We want you to join us while we are taking a step into the future if you have:
- Graduate with BA in a related job or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in purchasing, preferably with government-funded contracts.
- Powerful working knowledge of NetSuite and G-sheet.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment,
- Ability to manage ambiguity, while fostering an example of professionalism and leadership,
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, strong follow-up on multi-tasks, communication skills, analytical and reporting skills,
- Confident, self-motivated flexible, and proactive approach.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
