Job Description


We are seeking a motivated and experienced Geological Engineer to join our team. You will primarily work on-site conducting soil investigations and preparing detailed reports. Collaboration with engineers and geologists will be essential to address project challenges efficiently and effectively.
Job Duties:

Follow safe work practices and adhere to company guidelines for planning and executing work safely.
Perform design calculations and feasibility studies to assess issues and develop solutions.
Conduct field inspections, plan, and implement field exploration and testing programs, including soil and rock drilling, test pitting sampling, and geologic mapping.
Perform site characterizations and evaluate geotechnical hazards.
Plan, design, and construct dams, tunnels, caverns, foundations, slopes, and earth retaining structures.
Assess subsurface conditions, including soil and rock properties and geomechanical conditions, and interpret field documentation.
Evaluate field and laboratory test data and develop parameters for technical analyses.
Incorporate regulatory agency requirements, technical design standards, and industry guidelines into designs.
Prepare technical reports, including geotechnical data reports, baseline reports, field reports, technical memoranda, computation packages, feasibility reports, design and evaluation reports, construction drawings, and specifications.
Provide field engineering support during project construction.
Lead and mentor junior staff, managing projects and tasks effectively.
Prepare engineering project proposals and manage client communication.
Manage time and budget efficiently.
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of work.
Participate in professional development and training activities.





My profile



Bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering from a reputable university. (MSc in Geological Engineering is preferable.)
At least 5 years of site experience in soil investigations
Working knowledge of standard office programs.
Experience with local and major international codes.
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
Self-motivated, eager to learn, and take responsibility on challenging projects.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Able to work as an effective team member, result-oriented.
No travel restrictions (national & international).
For male candidates, no military service obligation.
Proficiency in geological modeling and numerical analysis software such as DIPS, UNWEDGE, SWEDGE, UDEC, FLAC, Plaxis 2D/3D, RS2/RS3, Leapfrog, GeoStudio (e.g., SEEP/W and SLOPE/W), and gINT.
