Job Description
- Ensuring implementation of corporate governance in the area of customs affairs, central directives and local requirements
- Ensuring and monitoring Bosch entities implement the customs requirements assigned to them, governance of customs compliance issues
- Monitoring legal changes and preparing local implementation schemes when necessary issuing regional regulations, being the second level Support of customs topics
- Monitoring, supporting and communicating FTA/GSP regulations
- Communication with the customs authorities outside of operational processes
- Responsible for customs valuation decisions for cross-functional tasks and identifying valuation addition methods to be applied
- Determination and final deployment of the correct customs tariff number based on the applicable national legal basis and with help of the centralized tariff classification process through leading system SAP GTS. Requesting binding tariffs when necessary
- Accompanying official customs audit and organizing the audit execution procedure
- Following up customs litigation
- As per customs risk management concept, setting up controls monitoring them and follow up mitigation measures,
- Coordination of non operational foreign trade projects
- Membership of non-governmental organizations in customs and foreign trade
Qualifications
- Education: Completed university studies in business administration, or a comparable subject
- Experience and Knowledge: Several years of relevant working experience in customs and foreign trade area having profound expertise
- SAP knowledge
- HS Code identification experience
- Ability and experience to interact with customs authorities
- Languages: Business fluent in written and spoken English
- Personality and Working Practice: Bring in your engagement and willingness to collaborate in a fast changing, international environment. Careful and structured approach that detects and position in complex working environments
