We are looking for ‘’Food Laboratory/GMO Team Leader/Technical Expert” for the Food Laboratory of Intertek Turkey office.

- Graduated from Food Engineering, Molecular Biology and Genetics or Biology departments of universities
- Minimum 5 years of laboratory and 2 years of management experience
- Having a good command of ISO 17025 Quality Management System, having knowledge and experience about laboratory accreditation studies, being quality and customer-oriented
- Competent in leadership, planning and organization, delegation, coordination, initiative and time crisis management
- Competent in relationship management and teamwork
- Have the ability to think analytically
- Good command of English
- Good command of MS Office applications
- Preferably residing on the European side of Istanbul.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- To ensure, maintain, monitor and continuously improve the compliance of all activities in the Food Laboratory GMO unit with ISO 17025 Quality Management System, to audit, to determine the necessary corrective actions
- To follow all regulations / test methods related to the Food Laboratory GMO unit, to carry out feasibility studies, to carry out adaptation studies of methods.
- To carry out the accreditation processes of the department
- Conducting productivity analyzes in the units reporting to him, planning productivity-enhancing activities such as 5S and Lean Management Practices, and ensuring their sustainability
- Preparing various periodic weekly/monthly/yearly reports
- To ensure that health and safety rules are followed in all activities in the Food Laboratory GMO unit.
