Description
- Ensure accurate financial records in compliance with Turkish and IFRS accounting principles and standards.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare financial statements and reports.
- Conduct budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights for strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage all tax-related activities.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage cash flow and liquidity to support business operations effectively.
- Lead internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Oversee financial risk management, including the assessment of credit, investment, and operational risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business growth and financial planning.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Financial qualifications (CPA/CIMA/ACCA) is a plus.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience. Big 4 experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (Turkish and IFRS).
- Good Microsoft excel knowledge
- Excellent analytical skills
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively in an international business environment.
