About This Job:
This is a highly strategic and influential role that spans a diverse and dynamic region covering Turkey, Iran & Levant, offering the opportunity to shape and drive the strategy of the commercial organization. As a part of Finance Eurasia team, this role will directly report to the CFO Russia and Finance Business Partner Vaccines Eurasia. The role will engage with a broad network of internal and external stakeholders, building meaningful partnerships to unlock value and innovation. As a key leader within the organization, this role demands a visionary approach who can inspire teams, navigate complex challenges, and make a lasting impact on the organization’s success and growth.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure an effective and timely administration, reporting and budget control of Sanofi Vaccines activities in MCO, as well as compliance with external and internal accounting standards and Sanofi Group policies. Provide financial and analytical support to the business. To partner/contribute to the decision making process.
- Contribute to Sanofi Vaccines TIL MCO strategy by providing financial insight and guidance.
- Contribute to the achievement of Sanofi Vaccines objectives in MCO as approved in the plan and the budget.
- Provide a financial expertise and administrative support to Sanofi Vaccines team in the MCO.
- Coordinate the financial synergies between Sanofi Vaccines and Sanofi Group companies in Sanofi Vaccines TIL MCO. Ensure in coordination with country CFO’s and finance teams in the cluster countries, reliability of financial statements and security of assets related to the activity - participate to country's finance governance as member of the country finance committee.
- Guarantee the high quality of reporting and financial statements and compliance with local legislation and Sanofi rules.
KEY RESULTS - ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Heading Financial Control Activities in Sanofi Vaccines TIL MCO
- Provide a strong finance support to the business by supporting the MCO Head, Country Heads and MCO Leadership team to allow efficient decision making process in collaboration with business teams and finance teams.
- Coordinate with Sanofi Finance Department & SBS to ensure proper management of working capital, inventory and receivables levels through effective management and ensure follow up payment of customers
- Coordinate with legal department to ensure proper follow up of contract related to all Sanofi Vaccines activities in the sub-region.
- Budgets, forecasts and monthly trends :
- Ensure the reporting in TM1 BOOST.
- Organize and coordinate the budget and forecasts processes.
- Collect and consolidate the financial data (Sales, Gross margin, personal cost, Opex by nature and Department) and validate budget assumptions and rationales
- Submit the budget, forecasts and the monthly trends in TM1 Boost.
- Share the validated budgets with the team.
- Maintain the communication with FP&A teams based on defined roles & duties.
- Monthly closing & Reporting:
- Communicate monthly local closing planning and respect the group deadlines of reporting.
- Coordinate the monthly closing process with Sanofi Group, Region and Corporate team.
- Manage and validate monthly accruals (and calculate if needed; i.e. restructuring etc).
- Estimate a monthly landing and communicate it to the Region.
- Ensure the reporting to be completed in a timely manner in TM1 Boost.
- Performance review :
- Support the MCO Management Committee with monthly dashboards and KPI.
- Analyse and comment the monthly results (Sales, Gross margin, PL and HC)
- Make a deep analysis of commercial conditions and their impact on the Gross to Net sales and share with the SP team.
- Alert the Management and AMEE Region on the variances vs budget and major positive or negative impact on the PL.
- Make suggestions to the MCO Head (and Country Head if necessary) and/or team to improve the MCO’s financial performance (GM, Opex and BOI)
- Inform the MCO Head in the monitoring of receivables, DSO and stocks by country.
- Budget control :
- Coordinate the budget control and Opex monitoring with all related departments.
- Perform analysis of Opex by country, nature and department and share it with GM and the team.
- Provide the GM and team with profitability analysis and “smart travel” initiatives.
- Guarantee the right allocation of expenses by nature, cost center and project.
- Audit, Compliance & Internal control :
- Follow the internal audit recommendations and their implementation.
- Guarantee the implementation and respect of Sanofi SOPs (Group and Vaccines).
- Alert the Management about any deviation and non-compliant operation.
- Work in collaboration with Sanofi Internal Control department to ensure a compliant and efficient operational flow for Sanofi Vaccines processes. Recommend optimization actions as required.
- Commercial policy & profitability analysis:
- Participate actively in the preparation of the annual commercial policy
- Prepare the business cases and get the approval for all commercial offers, including the tenders and pricing approval
- Ensure the implementation of the commercial policy according to the procedure and internal delegations
- Analyze the country, market and product performance, including price and volumes analysis
- Provide the Zone teams with profitability analysis and work on action plan for low profitability products/markets
- Prepare the ad hoc financial analysis
- Ad hoc analysis :
- Support the GM and the team for financial assessment and decision making on special project when applicable.
- Prepare all the financial analysis requested by the Management and zone.
- Initiate benchmarking studies.
- Assist the medico, marketing and sales teams with projects profitability analysis and PL by project.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Engineering
- Minimum 4 years’ of working experience, in international environments and is fully familiar with multicultural organizations
- Experience in project management approach
- Fluency in English
- Knowledge of HFM, Office, COGNOS TM1, SAP systems
- Ability to implement and lead changes identified for organizations, processes and ways of working. Is able to implement a culture of innovation in a digital and changing environment
- Ability to effectively manage functions/experts required for successful project implementations. In the globalized environment, creates opportunities for interactions and clarifications, helps to avoid misunderstandings within the organization.
- Has strong listening and communication skills. Brings people together, actively listens to them and summarizes, synthesises different points of view. Drives necessary conversations to reach common understanding.
Terms of Employment
- This full-time position does not have people management responsibility.
