Job Description:


Job Summary
The Feeder On-Road Supervisor trains UPS Small Package tractor trailer drivers using company guidelines. He/She monitors performance to ensure drivers are in compliance with UPS and regulatory requirements. This position holds monthly safety meetings, administers monthly safety tests, conducts an annual performance and safety certification ride with each driver, and reviews accident and injury reports. He/She supervises UPS drivers.
Responsibilities:


  • Provides classroom instruction on work methods, government regulations, and the use of applicable driver systems and technology.
  • Determines employee training needs to produce continuous development plans.
  • Provides feedback and support.
  • Conducts performance evaluations and resolves individual and group performance issues.
  • Supervises road activities by reviewing service reports, monitoring schedule adherence, and following up with drivers on schedule deviations.
  • Assists with dispatch and yard activities and works with contracted drivers during peak season operations.


Qualifications:


  • Must be willing to obtain and meet operations requirements to operate a tractor trailer
  • Must be able to work flexible shift hours and on the weekends
  • Supervisory Experience - Preferred
