Job Description
As Sika Construction Chemicals Inc., we are looking for team members to join our growing organization as a 'Factory and Cost Controller' responsible for our 5 factories in Turkey, reporting to the Finance Manager.
We are looking for candidates who covers responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Collecting and analyzing data related to production costs, such as labor, raw materials, and overheads.
- Assisting in the development of cost standards, budget estimates, and financial closing schedules.
- Driving appropriate cost structure improvements and optimizing productivity.
- Preparing cost reports and presenting findings to management.
- Analyzing actual costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and practices.
- Assisting in month-end close processes, including inventory analysis and provisions.
- Estimating product costs and conducting price analysis to support the sales team.
- Supporting financial analysis and forecasting efforts.
- Collaborating with internal and external auditors during audit processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, with a background in manufacturing accounting.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing company.
- Strong command of English (both written and spoken).
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with departments such as R&D, procurement, production, and planning.
