About the Role:


We are looking for a ESG Data Operations Specialist who will play a crucial role in supporting our Sustainability Reporting and Strategy projects. In this position, you will be responsible for collecting, validating, and organizing ESG data, while also contributing to the research and development of innovative ESG data collection procedures. You will help create tailored data collection templates that align with each company's specific sustainability needs, empowering them to achieve and communicate their goals.


The key duties of the successful candidate are:


  • Lead client-facing conversations around optimal data collection methodologies to enable efficient, accurate, traceable ESG data collection,
  • Improve and automate ESG data sourcing, processing, analysis, and reporting,
  • Identify and liaise with internal and external (mainly client companies’) data points and contacts,
  • Provide portfolio-level analytics on climate risk, carbon emissions, and regulatory compliance,
  • Stay up to date with evolving ESG regulations (e.g., SFDR, CSRD, IFRS ISSB) and disseminate updates,
  • Design user-friendly tools to make ESG data accessible to non-technical teams,
  • Respond to ESG data requests from internal stakeholders,
  • Engage in industry collaboration with regulators, investment associations, and other relevant stakeholders.

The requirements for the successful candidate are:


  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering (Environmental Engineering, Meteorology and Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering), Social Sciences (International Relations, Political Science, Business Administration, Economics) or other related field,
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken,
  • Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver results,
  • Familiarity with ESG data sets and ESG ratings providers,
  • Understanding of climate-related factors in investment decision-making,
  • Previous experience with data collection or analysis is required,
  • Confidence in ESG Dataset and mindset understanding the relation between data and ESG core principles,
  • Understanding the corporate culture and business model for companies in order to provide appropriate solutions,
  • Leadership potential, capable of guiding teams or leading project segments,
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills,
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both with other teams and independently,
  • Effective communication skills with clients.
