ABOUT THE ROLEWe are searching for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our OpenDoor team as a
Planning, Director. This is a Full-time based in Istanbul. This role plays a crucial part in supporting WPP's mission to deliver consistency, delivery excellence and best in class service for Amazon in every country across its diverse businesses, including XCM, Prime Video, and RMI.
RESPONSIBILITIES•Acts as a client visionary by bringing a highly valued perspective to the client based on a deep understanding of their business, issues and opportunities.
•Responsible for both long- and short-term planning initiatives for their respective PV with a focus on understanding and embedding country nuance and expertise within and alongside regional initiatives
•Managing each campaign framework to deliver breakthrough campaign planning regionally and within each locale across every campaign.
•Defining local audience, channel and partner plans for locally planned campaigns, and taking regional channel plans and planning local partnerships and offline for regionally planned campaigns.
•Working closely with hub and regional clients and agency colleagues to ensure best practice is deployed and continually evolved
•Independently manage the assigned teams and implement media campaigns.
•Delivers accurate planning and reporting in line with strategic objectives. With value-added insights for the role of the medium as part of the overall campaign and smart use of campaign planning or market opportunities.
•Help drive new routes to optimum planning outputs and support operational and planning strategies which support best-in-class delivery.
•Interprets planning data relative to the performance of products, services and solutions against client needs to ensure the customer recognizes and receives value, setting the right KPI's and metrics.
Qualifications- Min 8-10 years experience in Media Planning across multiple channels
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Fluent level in English
- Experience in management of large multi-market and networked teams essential
- Deep technical full-funnel media capability, with strong data and analytics literacy
- Strong reputation as a responsible, accountable leader with international media management experience, and a willingness to go deep with their teams
- Oversees team members to discuss current projects, workload and activities; prioritizes resources accordingly
- Demonstrated experience and success working with the decision makers of organizations.
- Significant proven experience of working with multiple stakeholders, e.g. suppliers, advertising/marketing agencies, media owners
- Shows a depth of understanding of the industry, business, brands and consumers in client conversations
- Passion for innovation and a desire to challenge industry norms
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
